Second-Hand Market Halloween Shopping

The housemates and I went to Tengeru, the second-hand clothing market, on Saturday, October 29 to find outfits for a Halloween party later that night. On another trip, we had seen a table full of some amazing 80's "power suits" so we decided with a little hairspray, heavy makeup, and some attitude, we would be the perfect 80's power ladies.  Here are some photos from the day.

Shoe shopping...Tanzanian style

If you have the patience to dig for it, you can find some pretty incredible things.

Because everyone needs some tennis shoes with $100 bills on it...right?

Chips Mayai (eggs with french fries).  A local favorite...also an Ashley favorite.

Faith and I in the back of the daladala with about a hundred other people.  It was HOT.

We found some great costumes.  Will post those soon :)
